OP-870 has a decorative tube protector and an electrolytic capacitor for spec-up. The mesh tube protector makes TU-870 look more sophisticated and as well as prevent the heated tube from being touched. The electrolytic capacitor reduces the noise by 30 to 40% (raise the S/N ratio) when it is mounted on the PCB Board. |

TU-870
The advanced "R-core transformer" used as a power transformer has the features of the super-low flux leakage, low loss, and the excellent overload characteristic. Therefore TU-870 model has enabled a large improvement of S/N ratio and clear tone quality. The insulator of the mechanical ground construction system suppresses unnecessary vibration. Two useful input terminals are equipped. All the parts except the vacuum tubes and vacuum-tube sockets are made in Japan.

TU-875
Tone control is not loaded. Simple and compact preamplifier. In addition to the line amplifier with volume and balance control, phono-equalizer amplifier and MC head amplifier are loaded and it applies to both MM and MC cartridge. It is a hybrid composition type that J-FET is adopted for the first stage of MC head amplifier and equalizer to make it low noise without spoiling the sound quality of a vacuum pipe. AC adapter(DC7V stabilization output) is used for power supply. B power source of vacuum pipe generates stabilized DC200V by DC-DC converter of sealed box of the device. And position of power source separates from main part of the device in order to reduce the electromagnetic ham-noise.
